Stargrunt II
The Stargrunt II Rules are miniatures wargaming rules for fighting platoon-sized engagements in a somewhat familiar science-fiction setting. Nobody actually knows what combat in 2100, 2200 or 2300 A.D. will look like, so the game mostly tries to replicate the feel of near-future military sci-fi novels moreso than try to accurately predict the nature of combat in the future. Appropriate examples of fictional sci-fi combat might be: David Drake's Hammers' Slammers series, Roland Green's Starship Shenandoah series, Joel Rosenberg's Not For Glory and its successor, Jerry Pournelle's Mercenary and other CoDominium books, the Longknife series by Chris Shepherd, the Dirigent Military Corporation series by Rick Shelley, etc.

Stargrunt II Rules Clarifications
- Where the rules refer to rolling dX and multiplying by N, we instead roll NdX and add them together. This tends to add a little more predictability to combat moves, heavy armour on vehicles, and heavy weapons damage.
